Is my submitted Geocache under review?

Hi! I hid my first geocache today. I received an email informing me that it is under review, then received another email that says, "Before your content can be seen by other members, we need to create an account for you." But I have an account. 

 

Just wondering if there was something I'm missing. I'm new to this. THANK YOU!

It sounds like there might be an issue with your email. You should have received notifications of the publication and the subsequent finds. I would write in to customer support and see if they can help: https://www.geocaching.com/help

She changed her username and hasn't logged back into the forums to force it to update, so clicking on her profile link from here leads to a 404 error.

Why doesn't this board use the PRcode or the userID for creating a profile ink? Those hadn't been changed at all and would be the smarter way to kill that cat.

Agreed. It seems simple on the surface, but I know the IT department has had challenges connecting the forum software to the geocaching data as it is. I think if there was an easy way to set up the syncing using the account ID, they would have implemented that.
