Messages on another thread suggest the new profile visibility loophole has quietly been plugged, with no mention of the update , reason for it or acknowledgement that there was a loophole there at all apparent from Groundspeak .

 

You might imagine that a business predicated on the work of a community might at least come forward with a simple ' Thanks for noticing and reporting the error so we could sort it out .'

GDPR requires business to report personal data breach to supervisory authority within 72 hours. https://gdpr-info.eu/art-33-gdpr/

It also requires to communicate with the data subject without undue delay. https://gdpr-info.eu/art-34-gdpr/

 

I think that there is going GDPR cherry picking :D It is used to justify some actions but not followed with others.
