Riverwind
That geo cache? Are there any active groups or clubs organized? *Edited so "robertlipe" could better understand what I was asking. [This message was edited by Riverwind on July 30, 2003 at 09:02 PM.] Quote Link to comment
robertlipe
Yes, there are a few million people in that area. Perhaps you'd like to narrow the query a little. Quote Link to comment
robertlipe
Well, four of the top ten cachers on this planet live in the area you describe. Louisville and Nashville both have many, many cachers. There are clubs in Central KY, Lexington, and Middle TN. I don't know of others, but they may exist. If you roam through the logs and caches of the area you're interested in you may very well find more. Glancing at http://www.insidecorner.com/geocaching/stats/cities.cgi?city=Nashville shows that almost 300 people have cached in Nashville in the last 3 months. Quote Link to comment
Riverwind
Thanks Robert, I appreciate the tip! I am still fairly new to the sport and did not realize it was quit this popular, so I figured I would ask... Thanks for the help! Quote Link to comment

The GeoCachers of Kentucky (GEOCKY) is located in Central Kentucky, but has members in various areas of the state. We have worked with City officials in Lexington as well as various State organizations to get permission to cache. You can find us at http://www.geocky.org Quote Link to comment
