As every year we plan an event from 31/12/2019 11:45PM - 01/01/2020 00:15AM. As a workaround we tried 11:15PM as start-time and 00:15AM as end-time. That does not work, because end-time is before star-time ;) Even with no daily spread event-time 11:30PM till 00:00Am is not possible to choose. So, we had to choose 11:15PM till 11:45PM and make a notice in the listing for the correct event time. Best Regard netzzitrone Quote Link to comment
+The A-Team Posted October 15, 2019 Share Posted October 15, 2019 This makes sense. Event listings can only occur on a single day. 00:00 is on the next day, so that won't work as an end time. That makes 11:45 the latest possible end time (assuming 15 minute increments). Since Events must last a minimum of 30 minutes, the latest possible start time would be 11:15. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

+Mineral2 Posted October 16, 2019 Share Posted October 16, 2019 Maybe the fix is to specify the intended length of the event in hours and minutes and let the server calculate the end time accordingly, thus allowing events to start prior to midnight, but end after midnight the next day. If Groundspeak is to regulate events to "one day", but events are allowed to take place through then night, maybe it's better to specify the maximum length an event can take place from the start time, rather than force it to end with the calendar day. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

I've entered time on all caches since starting, using "military" time. Every once in a while someone will ask, "Why does your log say 1400 finds when under your name it says you found more ?"
