Time to get this upcoming mega event onto your calendars, it's going to be a great celebration of geocaching:

- 20 years of geocaching worldwide

- 20 year celebration of New Zealand having the first geocache hidden outside of the US! (GC45)

It's going to be held at Bruce Pulman Park in Takanini, South Auckland.  It's handy to the airport and to the southern motorway.  Main event date is Saturday 24th October 2020, but there will activities planned for the 23rd through to the 26th, as it is a long weekend in New Zealand.

The event already has mega status, so no doubts that it will be a mega event, with mega icon, souvenir, adventure lab caches, the works...  Lots of activities for adults and kids, workshops, activities, competitions and prizes.

The cache page will be published next month, and the GC code is GC87777.  Check us out on facebook by searching for NZ Mega 2020 and visit our website at www.nzmega.com.

See you there!!!

This mega event is all the 20's! And now that it's postponed to 2021, we can celebrate 21 years as well!

NZ Mega 2020 will be held over Labour Weekend 2021* (22nd to 25th October 2021 - the official event date being Saturday the 23rd) and is being hosted in the function centre at Pulman Park in the South Auckland suburb of Takanini.

The event will include a huge array of activities, classes, discussion forums and talks on all manner of aspects of the game of geocaching.

You can expect:
- Fun geocaching activities and games
- Some cool adventure lab caches
- Seminars on puzzle solving, cache camouflage, bush safety, GSAK, and much more...
- Competitions
- Prizes
- Activites for kids
- Special guests
- And lots and lots of fun!

This is not just Auckland's mega event, this is New Zealand's mega event.  And everyone is welcome!  So mark your calendars - you will not want to miss this event!

*NZ Mega 2020 was originally to be held over Labour Weekend 2020, but was postponed due to the worldwide COVID-19 crisis and the risk of travel restrictions, quarantine and limits on public gatherings having a massive negative effect on the event. The event has been postponed by one year to Labour Weekend, October 2021.
