Hello,
I am a geocaching and a Waymarking player and i need your help, i need a picture of your GPS with these coordinates N 25° 36.846 to validate a waymark.
I saw you have geocaches nearby these coordinates, is it possible for you to send me that picture ?
You can also reply you do not have time...

My numbers are:

pisacaching
74722224464 -> 7512
2224464 -> 75°12.222' (I hope I did it right)

elyob, would that be possible for you?

I'm willing to help with N48 and E16, if I can get there with public transport (don't own a car) or I can help to find other geocachers in Austria who might be willing to help.

I live in Halifax so which North you want to go with W63 32.639?

the idea is to find an interesting site to waymark -- a park, historical site, school, church, scenic whatever. I found a state park in Illinois that ran along my coord, and the waymarker doing it for me found a great scenic overlook of the river that matched.  you would need to get a picture of your GPSr with the coords displayed, and a couple of pictures of the site.

Yeah for strange reason that West coordinates dodge most of the interesting spot of Halifax area :-(

44.685074, -63.543983 gets you right at Dartmouth Music Center. That should be waymark-able.

63.543983 converts to 63 32.639

44.671914, -63.543983 is Brownlow Park Playground

I approved one waymark with converted coords but I do not plan to do it again. I really think the coordinates used on geocaches and waymarks should prevail. I'll change my mind if the description is changed.

The one I choose is really close from those with the MicMac Rotary at n44 40.880 w63 32.639

Here a picture of the area I found of 1967. My coordinates is the bottom right corner. The area changed quite a lot in 52 yrs.

the mapping program I was using wouldn't take decimal minutes, so I had to convert. But Lynx should be able to get to those areas, then use his GPSr to find the proper location. I was just explaining why I was suggesting going to 63.543983 instead of 63 32.639.

Proper coords for Brownlow Park are N 44 40.31484, W 63 32.639

Over the years I have contacted dozens of waymarkers with offers of help and many geocachers asking for help. I've lost track of who said what.

My posts will help spread the word of who I can possibly help, and maybe they'll see this forum thread and be interested.

Hello,

have just become aware of this catgory through the forum.

My coordinates would be:

kaschper69

5272473769 > 52°72.473769 > 53°12.473(769)

If I understood it correctly, would I now have to hope for a player who is near the 53rd latitude or longitude at 53° 12.473?

My own coordinates are in the range N50° 23.2 E007° 21.0.

I can think of so many spots nearby where I could find you a waymark.  Sadly, it might be a while before we return.

Thank you for your offer. I'm in no hurry. At the moment I have a request in Germany. It would be nice if somebody would make it someday.

I had posted about a bad, bad mistake I made trying to get Toro's name. I misread my notes, and got the wrong coords on the GPS.  I know of a waymarker who may be back there in a few months, and I also posted a request for help on the two closest caches (part of a Geotour). I feel so ashamed! I wrote him a nice apology, but never heard back, so I must be in the dog house!

Success! Toro's name is in a church cemetery where there were a lot of deer from the nearby woods. 8Nuts's name was at an Arboretum on a college campus (too bad, but since it's winter there was nothing pretty to photograph at the Arboretum).

Thanks Max & 99. I created the Waymark the day after I received the photos. Still waiting for approval.

MotherGoose is from Alabama and still cheers for the University of Alabama. She says, "ROLL TIDE!"

I was happy to do it!

I wish I could review the waymark,  but it felt inappropriate so I'm hoping that someone else will take a look. ?

Stumbled across this game while logging a benchmark I saw at Stone Mountain, GA over Christmas I would like to play!!  I am located near N30 31 W086 27 in case anyone needs me to find a location in northwest Florida, USA. I converted my name to 26 23.42367 and plotted some points in MapSource.  Connecting the points into a routes I mapped out potential Waymarking areas worldwide.  Reading the posts here gave me some pointers on how to find someone who might be willing to send a photo of the location so I can waymark it. Sounds like fun!

To publish my waymark in this category, i chose my coordinates, i went to Geocaching sites and found owners nearby.

In Australia, no one replied to my messages but in Florida it worked.

If someone need help with coordinates in France, i can help to get owners with you in touch.

Can you help me with a few more specifics on the steps you took to locate someone? How did you search using your coordinates in Geocaching?  Just used the map to ID the general areas? Or, did you somehow use the coordinates in the search box? Can you use wildcards in the search box for the missing coordinates?

I was just in that area!

To find coordinate possibilities I use the Geocaching Home Coords feature or Google maps. Once I have a coordinate needed, then I continually change coords in the other direction till I see what may be a good location.

I'm too far for your name, but I wish I could help!
