Visited Date on website not toggled by app

I use the Visited date that shows on the website  under Friends. It is handy to see how close the friend is to a major milestone or to see when they were last active on geocaching. The issue is that this date appears to only update if the user goes into the geocaching.com website directly. This is more a geeky computer report on web access. Who cares! I have read that 60% of the users are now using the phone app. A user can access the geocaching information and even log new finds on the app but it does not reflect on the website data. This makes this information useless. I would strongly recommend that this be changed to Activity and reflect the last date a user placed a log or note into the database from either the website or the geocaching app.
