make a registered coin discoverable only

Hi, We recently registered a CITO-2-GO coin CTG476 / TB96XT0

but did something wrong.

We printed out and made little bags with garbage sacks but don't know how to make the bags discoverable. When we go to the geocoin owned by us there is no option.  Can we completely delete the coin and re-register it as discoverable only?

I think we should have put the code onto the bag not the TB number.  See photo

Help please!

Kindly, Torrie and Rene

You can remove it from play. If you place the trackable into your "Collection", it's out of any Inventory, and therefore cannot accrue logs except for Discover and Note.

There's a learning curve to setting it up and using the feature, and it's not for everyone.  But it's available.

Publishing just the Reference Number is another way, but it creates confusion just like The Collection does, so expect to do a lot of explaining, either way.  :)

We really just want people to be able "to discover"  the bag and fill trash.

A bag brought to an event will garner a few discovers...        ;)

You have the code in a few places on the trackable's page, pics, in logs, and now in these forums.

 -  Does that mean you're going to allow virtual "discovers" ?

"Just fill & throw it into a garbage can...".     This is a once-and-done trackable, "resupplied" as needed ?    Thanks.   :)

Along with dozens of cachers at the time, we used to fill film cans with plastic store bags.

A common addition to mix with swag,  most had CITO printed on them somewhere.  :)

When we'd return for maintenance a year later, they'd be one of the few things left behind.

Your "trackable code" idea may work , if someone recognizes it as a code.  You don't have the word "Trackable" written anywhere...

Sounds interesting though.  Good luck.
