Best city in Michigan to geocache?

Planning on visiting Michigan for some Geocaching. We have been to Marquette twice and Port Huron once. Really liked Marquette with the trails. Looking for another place to spend 4-5 days caching where we can drive to a trailhead and walk to find multi caches. Can anyone suggest a place?  Upper or Lower Michigan is fine. Thanks

Kalamazoo and South Haven. Kzoo goes from here to SH and in SH they have a trail heading south. There's at least 150 just on the Kal-Haven trail alone

I really loved visiting and caching around St. Ignace/Mackinaw City, plus taking the ferry over to Mackinac Island and grabbing some caches there. I'm not familiar with the trail systems around the area and there aren't a ton of multi's, but the area is still a gem to take in the sights.

 

Another wonderful area is Munising and along the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Taking the hike out to the Au Sable lighthouse was a highlight. Again, not that many multicaches but a beautiful location.

If you're going for the numbers, the Clinton River Trail is packed with them in southeast Michigan.

There are quite a few on the North Country Trail in the Eastern Upper peninsula.

For caching and hiking it is tough to beat the North Country Trail. There are hundreds of caches on the NCT in Lake, Mason, Manistee, Wexford, and Grand Traverse counties.

Easily North Country Trail or Mackinaw City/Island.

 

I wish the U.P. had more caches but only a few selective cities/towns have 'em. #CacheMoreUPNorth

My family lives in the Southwestern area and I'm wondering, is South Haven the closest hot spot for me?

South Haven has some okay caches. Kalamazoo is a good area, and a bit further north, so is Grand Rapids. Holland, along the lakeshore, has a good amount of caches as well.
