how do I transfer geocaches from a Chromebook to my GPS unit?

When you download Geocaches you get files with the extension GPX.

Assuming you have a Garmin:

GPX files have to be copied/moved (or downloaded directly) to the map /Garmin/GPX/ of your unit. This can be on the internal memory OR on the micro SD-card, but never copy to both!

WHY do you say never copy to both t?  I always copy to both,  since the day my SD card failed and I was out with no access to the caches I had loaded.
