GSAK and Streets and Trip

Recommended Posts

I tried posting in GSAK forum, but I'm having a problem with my password.

I like to download pocket queries into S&Ts by   GSAK typically gives me a .est file that S&T can read.  Now, I only get .cvs file.  I'm not sure what I have done to only get .cvs.

Can anyone help be get back to .est downloads?

Thanks

All I can find is that GSAK exports a CSV file for importing to Streets and Trips (and that GSAK imports EST files?).

Maybe there's a setting you need to reset:

GSAK has always exports CSV files for S&T.  S&T doesn't 'read' them, they have to imported (ctrl-N in S&T).  EST files are saved maps created by S&T and contain more than caches, such as routes, other "pushpins" you've created, and labels for them.

Thank you both for the help.  I've been away from my usual mapping practices and the actions that used to be automatic need a bit more thought.  Thanks for getting my brain back on the right track.
