Gloucester Uk groups?

Hi

Apologies if I’m putting this in incorrect subject - am new to the forums. I was just wondering if there are any local discussion groups or Facebook or other social media groups where I could join fellow local geocachers to discuss local caches. I’m based in Gloucester UK. The reason this would be of interest to me is there have been a couple of questions I’d like to ask or as for help regarding local area and local caches. For example at the moment my three year old has taken to caching with me but only likes the ones where you get to swap loot! Would like to ask if there’s any nice local groups of caches that have decent size containers.

Again - apologies if this is in the wrong place or a silly question.

There is a Facebook group called Geocaching UK, and there are a number of regional groups too, but I would suggest joining the UK group and  asking on there for anything more local.

Thank you. I did look through and join a few groups or follow some on twitter but not messaged in them to ask. ??

Hi RaeRobyn, you could create an event in your area to meet up with other local cachers and talk to them directly. I was thinking of doing this. I went to school in Gloucester which isn’t relevant to your question but partly why I posted a reply!
