+gof1949
I have two accounts on geocache.com. Can I transfer my finds and everything from one account to the other so I can use my old username? Quote Link to comment
Keystone
There is no automated tool on Geocaching.com for combining the records for two accounts. (See this Help Center article.) There are, however, some manual and semi-automated shortcuts. Some questions for you: Is the "gof1949" account the one you wish to keep, going forward? How many finds were logged on the second account? Are you a GSAK user? Quote Link to comment
+gof1949
gof49 is the one I would like to keep and all my finds are on gof1949. There is about 165 finds on gof1949. I am not a GSAK user. I don't know what that is. This isn't that important. Not a big deal if I have to keep gof1949 as my account. Quote Link to comment
Keystone
You have 165 finds on the premium account you don't want to keep, and one find on the basic account you wish to keep. I assume you prefer gof49 because it is a 10 year old account? If account age isn't important, simply re-log the one find from the gof49 account. Otherwise, you will need to re-log 165 finds and work with Geocaching HQ support on the possible transfer of your premium membership over to the gof49 account. I asked about GSAK because it could have greatly simplified the re-logging process for you. See this discussion from January. For speedy manual re-logging, see this post from 2014. 4 Quote Link to comment
