Problems with the Leaderboard

On my geocaching leaderboard page, it just says its getting reset to zero. It didn't alert me that Cache Carnival was going on when I checked it. Therefore I missed the Carnival souvenirs. My leaderboard has been like this since the "You might be a ..... If" series. Help??

The "leaderboard" does not send notifications/alerts. You are supposed to know what promotions are going on yourself be it from the site, the forums, twitter, FB, newsletters.....

The leaderboard just lists your score, nothing more, nothing less.

Did you check the Leaderboard page during the Cache Carnival promotion, because it had an entirely difference appearance during those weeks.

Just a heads up: that the Intl. Geocaching Day souvenir is scheduled for Aug. 17. Your leaderboard will not give you notice. ?

In between the souvenir promotions that use it, the scoring on the leaderboard is just a remnant from the 2017 Mary Hyde one when it was first introduced, and has no meaning outside of private competitions between friends.
