+luvvinbird
What issues does version 3.00 cover? Anybody know? Garmin Express only shows the update, not the details. I can't google an update beyond 2.80. I wonder what bugs, if any, have been adressed? Quote Link to comment
_Art_
Hmm. Not seeing it on the update page here either. Thanks for the heads up though. I’ll try Express updater. Quote Link to comment

_Art_
is the hardware ID for 66S the same as 66ST? 66ST is: 006-B3028-00. Found in GarminDevice.xml. I don’t think it’s the serial number being used to exclude some. Quote Link to comment

Many units, if connected to Wi-Fi, are probably already downloading it directly. Quote Link to comment
_Art_
Hi Atlas If they fixed problems with lots of imagery on the card I’ll be almost happy. You & others are probably hoping for different things. Quote Link to comment
+luvvinbird
I was hoping the "Units" setting not changing from profile to profile would be corrected but, unfortunately not. Maybe on the next version, lol. Quote Link to comment

Well, not everyone uses their products for the same purposes or in the same manner, so it is only reasonable that we don't all experience the same issues! There is a post at GPSrChive to post your findings for this new firmware version, both good and bad! Quote Link to comment

Maybe on the next version, lol. You need to call Garmin and complain about this change of behavior (remind them all previous units were not like this). Frequently. You can see at GPSrChive that this bug was "intentionally placed to simplify device operation." They do not consider it a bug, so unless enough users CALL and complain, it likely will not be reversed or corrected... Edited May 9, 2019 by Atlas Cached Quote Link to comment

I guess I can see their point but, as you stated, it's a working feature on previous models. I spoke to them once about it and the person I was talking to confirmed my concern by testing it on his own devices. It could also be true that maybe I'm the only person who uses that feature, lol. I'll call them back... Quote Link to comment
