why have you change the maps   i have lost the OS mapping that i use please can you tell me know to get this back

OS maps are available on the Browse map but not the Search map.  I am moving this thread to the "How do I...?" forum in case you need further assistance.  Comments about the map redesign are best made in the Release Notes thread.

You may want to set up alerts/notifications for the Release Notes forum.  Changes to the Search Map and Browse Map have been discussed for a while.

In my excitement (I'm a cartogeek), I browsed all the way over to the UK to check out the Ordnance Survey maps, which aren't available for my part of the world.

 

Oh.  You guys are just talking about OSM.  OpenStreetMap.  Different thing.

 

(I think some people do use script hacks to get OS into the Groundspeak maps BTW.)

Thanks, Viajero Perdido - my post said "OS maps" in order to mirror the post I was answering.  I see now that the user is located in the UK, so they may have very well meant Ordnance Survey maps.  Those are provided via a user script, so if that script broke, contact the script author.  If the comment was about Open Street Maps, then my answer was accurate.
