+Mineral2 Posted May 4, 2019 Share Posted May 4, 2019 The eTrex 10 is a very basic and limited gps. It will do the job, but you'll quickly find yourself wanting more out of it. I'm not sure what phone app you mean. The Groundspeak official geocaching app? One of the third party apps? A more generic GPS navigation app? In any of those cases, your Android phone is more versatile than the eTrex 10. Probably more versatile than a more advanced GPS as well.
