luvvinbird
The allure of a good geocache can be very powerful. It can often cause some of us to take chances that maybe we shouldn't. Especially us seniors. A very sad story. Edited April 27, 2019 by luvvinbird Typo Quote Link to comment
noncentric
Unfortunately, this is not the first fatality during a cache hunt. Reading the logs of the most probable cache that he was attempting, it sounds like a tricky and treacherous one. Good lesson to all of us to stay vigilant about our safety. 1 Quote Link to comment
TheLimeCat
I'm truly sorry to hear this. The story seems rather bare-bones. I assume more information will be forthcoming, but nobody should have to suffer such a loss at the hands of a geocache. Quote Link to comment
Wacka
This death was a heart related issue, not a fall. Quote Link to comment
papu66
Sad story. It made the (tabloid) news also here in Finland, though that probably was just because of the dog. For many, caching is the only exercise they get so may actually save more lives than are lost in caching related accidents or mishaps. 3 Quote Link to comment
