reinstate an arcived event to re use

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I had an event last year  and I want to do the same event this year.

Is there a way to import all the information to a new event from the archived one.

Thanks

<p>Join me at Carpenters Brook Fish Hatchery under the pavilion on June 9 2018 from Noon to 3:00 PM for a Catered Picnic of selected picnic foods and drinks. Please keep a watch on this event ,as there is only seating for 48 people and I would like to keep it just under that for those that may not post a reply.</p>
<p>Enjoy the park and also learn all about the Hatchery and see it in action.</p>
<p>Bring your gear and tradables to share as there are some caches in the area ,and also any desert type concoction that you feel others may also enjoy. This will be a rain or shine event. Please post a WILL ATTEND by NEW DATE HERE. so I can get an idea of amounts to provide.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The hatchery was turned over to Onondaga County on May 12,1938 and is one of only four county run hatcheries in NYS.</p>
<p>Today they hold about 125,000 Trout ranging from Rainbow, Brook and Brown Trout.</p>

Can't you just copy/paste ?  I did it right in this log (deleted before posting...) and it's just a few spaces and such.  Simple  "fixes".

Curious, what's a tradable ?

Go to the source code of the archived cache and find the appropriate HTML code for the description. Copy and paste that code into the the description text box of the new event.

I always save a copy of the description HTML code for an event before I archive it just in case I want to use all or part of it for another event.
