+Dinosaur
Dinosaur from Boston released a travel bug in Alaska last week. All travel bug enthusiasts should check out this cache and travel bug. It will be quite an adventure to retrieve Toothy - you will need to fly, paddle, and hike to get him. And don't forget your bug spray! http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=30084 http://www.geocaching.com/track/track_detail.asp?ID=9960 Quote Link to comment
Sketch
That is a tough one and your bug may be there for a while. But I do have to take issue with the methods available to get there. In the winter, snow machines and or dog sleds are certainly a possibility. Good luck with your bug. Hope it doesn't sit there too long. Quote Link to comment

+Dinosaur
Hey Sketch - that's a great point about other ways to get to the cache. It would be great if Toothy came out on a dog sled! I know he'll probably be up there for a while, but hopefully he'll eventually find a way out and get to see the world. Quote Link to comment
+Dinosaur
Dear Alaska geocachers, Are any of you going dogsledding from Bettles? Please come find me! It's cold and dark on top of this hill! Please come find me and start me on my adventure! Sincerely, Toothy the Travel Bug Quote Link to comment
