+cachecoder
I am having an issue where once I solve a puzzle it moves from showing up in Virginia, to being in China! I know the original coordinates aren't correct, but they should be a bit closer than that! :-) Here is an example of 2 local puzzles I solved and once I changed to the updated coordinates, they moved to the other side of the world. I know N38 W077 is my local area, so I am assuming this is a bug. This is the link shown for the map inside the cache page for https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC2YE6N_reston-haiku https://www.geocaching.com/map/default.aspx?lat=38.97225&lng=77.36295#?ll=38.97226,77.36298&z=14 Quote Link to comment
+The Leprechauns
W077 is represented by a minus symbol and I do not see one in your URL link. Are you sure you input your corrected coordinates properly? 1 Quote Link to comment
+cachecoder
Yes, I just noticed that. Ugh! Sorry! What a doofus! I triple-checked before I posted. My brain will work eventually! Edited December 31, 2018 by cachecoder Quote Link to comment
+The Leprechauns
It appears that your New Years' resolution to "accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative" is already working! If you want a better example of a doofus geocacher, I am happy to provide personal details from some of my cache hunts. 1 Quote Link to comment
