Trafcon Posted December 19, 2002 Posted December 19, 2002 Hey are you folks still out there?? If so and it's not too much trouble could you check on the status of the "The Different Cache"?? There have been a few no finds and I don't think anyone should risk getting eaten (or at least bit) by Cujo if it's not still there. While you are there you might double check the coordinates if you have a good sat. fix. The current ones seem to want people to go into the yards where the dog is. (see logs). Thanks alot it's one of my close not yet found caches. KTF !!! GBWY !!! Quote
1pilot Posted December 20, 2002 Posted December 20, 2002 You might want to check on your ANNA's cache also, it seems to be gone too. Bob G. Quote
bazzle Posted December 22, 2002 Posted December 22, 2002 As have 20 Cent Cache and The Magnet Cache... I notice a couple more no finds since my logs in November. Hmmmm hope this is not an omen... Life is as much a journey of discovery, as it is a discovery of the journey... **Namaste** Quote
Navdog Posted December 22, 2002 Posted December 22, 2002 Maybe this cache explains their whereabouts. The adventures of Navdog, Justdog, and Otterpup Quote
oregone Posted December 22, 2002 Posted December 22, 2002 Their lack of response to repeated emails when their caches go missing combined with the fact that their caches are usually placed within .2 miles of an existing cache and their posted coords are sometimes 300 feet off have made me stop looking for their caches. So my 'nearest' list is destined to permanently be a sad mess. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed Quote
bazzle Posted December 24, 2002 Posted December 24, 2002 Bazil huh?? Now that one is going to be tough to maintain... Though I agree with oregone. They're caches have pretty much become invisible to me. Life is as much a journey of discovery, as it is a discovery of the journey... **Namaste** Quote
Nurse Dave Posted December 26, 2002 Posted December 26, 2002 This cache needed updated or confirmed coordinates and maybe a better hint. Instead of fixing it, that cache was archived without any finds and this cache was put up adding to placed cache count. What's up with that? ---Real men cache in shorts. Quote
brawdy Posted December 31, 2002 Posted December 31, 2002 my travel bug "Bored of the Rings" that you retrieved back in October from the Mountain-top-cache. If you still have it, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, log it and move it along. Thanks. ========================================================= It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation. Quote
Navdog Posted January 3, 2003 Posted January 3, 2003 It's bad enough to see overcrowding of caches in an urban area. But why was this cache placed within a few hundred feet of fractal's cache. Placing caches like this and not even finding the nearby cache is rather ignorant and rude. I've had this happen to me and it really takes away from the uniqueness of your own cache. The adventures of Navdog, Justdog, and Otterpup Quote
BigRedBee Posted January 4, 2003 Posted January 4, 2003 What about this one? Also very close to another one of Fractal's. Coincidence? Quote

1pilot Posted January 14, 2003 Posted January 14, 2003 You might want to grab him and set him in this cache 20 CNTS CACHE OF WYOMING It seems they took him here and don't know anything about logging them properly. Bob G. (1pilot) Quote
Team JOYSON Posted January 14, 2003 Posted January 14, 2003 1pilot... geocacher, super sleuth, and Travel-Bug Hunter... CRIKEY! Good detective work. It doesn't look like anyone's found the cache yet, so the bug should still be there. We had a chance to meet both Tricky Dick & Anna this past week, and though well intentioned, I don't believe they've quite grasped the process for logging everything. If you've got the copy tag, just pick it up & drop it in this cache, and hopefully the next person to find it will know what they're doing. +brawdy Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 Thanks so much 1Pilot. Got the TB logged properly. Now if someone will just go visit that cache in the boonies of Wyoming, it might actually go somewhere. Not been found since placement back in October. ========================================================= It never does to leave a live Dragon out of the equation. Quote
1pilot Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 No problem. Now if I could just get a responce from the people that have mine Flick The Ant and Space Snoopy, but after repeated e-mails, it looks like they may be headed for the TB graveyard Bob G. Quote

Hmmmmm what an interesting cache idea... I can just picture that now: TravelBug Graveyard This is a unique cache only for TravelBugs. The container is a lockbox with a hole in the top just big enough to drop in most 'bugs. Once inside, the 'bug cannot be retrieved except by the cache owner, who will clean it out periodically by removing all 'bugs and puting them all in a paper bag and tossing it into a furnace. The perfect way to get rid of any TravelBugs you are sick of. Quote
1pilot Posted January 18, 2003 Posted January 18, 2003 Well,.... there really is one! It's a place you can drop your travel bug, when they are MIA, to get them off cache pages. it"s here at The Travel Bug Graveyard Bob G. Where are we going?......And WHY am I in this handbasket??? Quote
