DannyCaffeine
Okay so what is bugging me is there is no easy way to delete a geocache from my GPS. I know what the names of the caches are but when a cache gets archived I can't look up get GPX (and doing so is kinda a pain) What is the easiest way to go about clearing out just the caches I don't need? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
niraD
When I load geocache data to my eXplorist, I always delete everything that is currently on it, and then add the new PQ data. Quote Link to comment
+noncentric
Deleting cache files depends on how you added them to your eTrex in the first place - a single file for each cache, a Bookmark List, or a Pocket Query. Since the last two options are only available to Premium Members, then I'll assume that you downloaded each cache as an individual .gpx file. Is that correct? If that's correct, then the easiest way to clear the files is to connect the eTrex to your computer and then delete the .gpx files for the unwanted caches from the Garmin/GPX folder of the eTrex. I didn't quite understand what you meant when you said "I know what the names of the caches are but when a cache gets archived I can't look up get GPX" - if you could clarify what you meant there, then I might be able to give some helpful advice.
