Small town benefits

Simply put if asking for permission to set on city property what benefits could be mentioned to help out a small town next to an interstate or Highway.

Tourism.

 

Many cachers (including me) drive those highways, annoying their wives with "...there are two just off the next exit..."

 

Sometimes she says, "Is there a place to get lunch?"

 

You can tell the city that you'll lure the occasional traveler off the road; what happens to the contents of their wallets is then up to the city.

CITO isn't only a thing at events.  For many it's a lifestyle. 

Towns are happy to see folks that clean up after themselves (and others).
