+AU96Alum
I have had several geocoins go out...and all is lost or stolen. It seems funny though that when they go "missing", it is always here in the United States. Anytime that it makes it overseas to Europe and such, it never gets lost....but they always go missing here in the US. What is up with that? If you are not going to move it on, don't take it!!! +Goldenwattle
My one TB to arrive in the US was supposedly placed in a cache, but then never heard from again. Arrived, placed in cache, gone. I have TBs wandering about Europe quite successfully. After your comment it reminded me of my missing TB in the US. Likely a coincidence. Quote Link to comment
+Goldenwattle
Some people steal them for collections, even though marked not collectable. When the TB has not been seen for awhile, but then you get a log saying, " Discovered it at international cache day in ..." you know it has almost certainly been stolen and hoarded. Good luck with ever hearing from it again, except maybe an occasionally, " Discovered it at..." Quote Link to comment

Out of 41 trackables I have 14 still accounted for, of those 14 the only ones making any kind of real movement are in Europe and Canada. Quote Link to comment
+Harry Dolphin
Well, you're lucky. I have 54 trackables. 10 in my possession. 31 marked missing. 10 in other cachers' possession (1 each since 2006, 2011, 2012 and 2013. 2 since 2014. And 4 since 2015.) 3 still in caches! I've stopped putting our my trackables, except in very lonely caches. Quote Link to comment
+hzoi
I have had plenty of trackables go missing in Europe, for the record. 2 Quote Link to comment

Odd that the dozen or so geocoins the other 2/3rds lost were almost split, "missing" between the US and Europe... Quote Link to comment
ChefHazmat
Put a Unite For Diabetes TB in a cache years ago only to have it stolen. Person that took it ended up deleting their account. Quote Link to comment
Flying Spaghetti Monster
I think I have very few that are still moving, sadly. Aside from the nefarious reasons, they do get lost, forgotten about, people stop caching, etc. It sucks, but it's the reality of leaving shiny things in boxes in the woods 1 Quote Link to comment
+slowdownracer
Not trying to sound like a broken record...…………… "Geocaching is a game of giving stuff away and keeping your fingers crossed." That's right, I said it again. Quote Link to comment
