+EveRan2013
Any idea if the new dates for the CITO has been announced to earn a souvenir in 2019? I have the permission to do a CITO in my town and thery're asking about the date, it would be great if this could be with the date they can earn a souvenir. Quote Link to comment
+K13
CITO WEEKS 2018 dates were April & September, for the 9 days starting on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Quote Link to comment
+captainmath
I'm also interested in EveRan2013's original question. It would be helpful to us also to know now what dates in 2019 will be designated as CITO weeks for the upcoming year. We have a partnership with a site that would like to have us continue to help them with a cleanup effort, but I'm hoping I can make the dates work with the 2019 souvenir. +Dr.MORO
Hi all! I also have been organizing a CITO event for several years now along the Charles River in Massachusetts. And now wondering when exactly 2019 CITO weeks are going to be. Quote Link to comment

Based on when the huge local event is held which I tie-in my CITO event, it would be best that CITO Week, April 2019 contains Saturday April 27th. GCHQ, please? And also let us know when CITO Week, April 2019 will be held, so organizer can plan with enough time ahead. FYI, Earth Day 2019 is on Monday April 22. 2 Quote Link to comment
+Dr.MORO
GCHQ? Any word on CITO Week 2019 schedule yet? Quote Link to comment
+Rikitan
I'd advise you to simply schedule your CITO Event for day you want (April 27th). No need to wait. Presumably it will hit the spring souvenir period, once it will be announced by HQ. If not - you can host CITO without souvenir, or reschedule the event - not a big issue. 1 Quote Link to comment
+Dragon Riders
April 21 are Easters, Earth Day is 22. I prefer week before it (April 13) (as in 2016), because later have lot of countries their holidays (May 1, May 8) and I will have less participants on my CITO. So I think, that CITO Week in center of April is good one for enough attendants. IMHO. Quote Link to comment
+pscwmoms
I'm with you need the dates for the wolf creek CITO. I work with the Mark Twain National Forest and local paper. Want to get a early start for April dates. Hope to hear soon. Quote Link to comment

+Dr.MORO
Yep, announced just now. Looks like an extended period starting this year. Cache In Trash Out® announcement for 2019 CITO 2019, Season 1 Friday, March 1 through Friday, May 31, 2019 That includes all of March, April, and May! CITO 2019, Season 2 Sunday, September 1 through Saturday, November 30, 2019 That includes all of September, October, and November! Quote Link to comment
+K13
So CITO Weeks are now CITO Half-Year. That souvenir should just be given to everyone who attends any CITO, and not even bother with the dates. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

Wonder why things like this, scheduled in advance, aren't in the "announcement" section of forums ? - Now it's just used for site updates and any downtime... Seems it'd be a good spot for the many who aren't on social sites, or basic members who don't get notifications, maybe missing good info. 3 Quote Link to comment
