How to copy all details to a second account?

We have been caching together for 8 years. Now I would like to continue, but we have had shared an account.

How can I copy all the details (logs, trackables, photos) and continue this great outdoor experience?

I'll leave it to others to give you practical suggestions to accomplished what you're asking about. I'll just mention the possibility of considering yourself a new identity and leave all the old logs behind, historically archived in the old account.

If you have been sharing an account, and now want to create a separate account with all the past logs, etc., then you'll need to submit new logs from your new account, upload new copies of the photos, etc. Trackables and caches can have only one owner, but the old account can adopt them to the new account.

 

When you're relogging old FInds, you should set the date of your log to the original date of the Find. Also, be sure to mention that you're relogging Finds under a new account in the text of the log, for example: "Found as Pukkie123 and relogging as my new account Pukkie456"

If it were me I'd do this:

Get PM for old account

Create "my finds" PQ" from old account

Import in GSAK with new account

create template in publish logs "found as xxx relogging to my new account yyy"

add all caches to "publish logs" and set the logtype to "found"

"Publish logs"

Sit back and relax while GSAK logs them all
