This guy surfaced today, four years after the last hit.  He’s been out in the world for 14 years now!!!!

No offense, but curious how you know.   :)

Last seen in Arkansas, and four years later  a "Discover" log in French, "Discovered - thank you for sharing" , doesn't seem like it's a given it resurfaced (to me).

That was my first thought too.  I’d have suggested asking fred856 where they discovered it, but they’ve retrieved or discovered over 41,000 trackables, so I’d be surprised if they could remember.

Fingers crossed though.  You never know...

Like others responding to your thread, I suggest that this user  perhaps saw a real TB, but typo'ed or misread the code, and ended up discovering yours.

It's unlikely that  in the real world, anyone found it or saw it. (Also possible, user is  sequentially entering TB numbers, and logging discovered on those that work.)

It was dropped march 14, 2014. There are two novice found it logs after that. Either of those novices might have picked it up, but not logged it. After that the box disappeared in a flood.
