B&B Joy
When I write my logs or make a message, I sometimes want to copy a piece of text and paste it elsewhere. It always worked perfectly, but since the site has got a new image it is not possible anymore. I have to press opt-out and return to the old dashboard to use that modus. Am I doing something wrong and is there a better way? Or do I have to accept this developement? Quote Link to comment
TriciaG
I've read in other threads that you CAN copy/paste, but the highlighting has gone away, so you cannot tell. Try it and see if you actually can select text with your mouse and copy it, even though the highlighting doesn't show you've selected the text. Quote Link to comment
B&B Joy
That is not so easy, because the cursor won't move over the text. How do you know which part of the text is selected? Quote Link to comment

B&B Joy
I have read it, but it doesn't give me a proper solution for my problem. I am using Firefox 62.0 and only on the site of geocaching I noticed this problem. Quote Link to comment
thebruce0
Because there is no solution yet, only workarounds. If you can 'opt out' of the feature that will bring the old version back and highlighting will work. If you have a custom script extension for your browser, you can override the CSS and make highlighting work. Until HQ fixes their end, this is all you can do. Quote Link to comment
B&B Joy
It is very disapointing that Geocaching.com changes its feature and asks to the users to tell what they think about it. And when they do so, geocaching.com seems not to listen to them. They are not consumer friendly at all! 3 Quote Link to comment
