I have a magellan explorist gc .Earlier this year I had no problem downloading caches from my chromebook directly to my gps.Now there seems to be a new format with only GPX files.I'm lost and extremely disappointed with this.We just renewed our premium membership so we wouldn't have to write everything on paper.Isn't there a SIMPLE way to get the caches from my chromebook to my Explorist???Unfortunately I'm not very computer savy. Thanks for any help you can give.

Actually, this 'new format GPX files' has always been GPX. The old Send to GPS button did nothing else but putting the GPX in the right folder for you. But that plug-in was unsafe, rejected by all modern browsers and finally removed by Groundspeak.

Nowadays you have to do it yourself. Just use the GPX file button and save the GPX to the right folder on your GPSr. Or save it elsewhere and copy it later. Nothing savy about it, just basic computer skills.
