+arisoft
I just noticed that final coordinates of my unpublished new cache, with final waypoint saturation checked by a reviewer, have suddenly reset to posted coordinates. Reason: If the CO changes the cache type, for example, from mystery to letterbox hybrid or multi-cache, the final coordinate silently resets to posted. This is quite dangerous side effect and easy to reproduce. Quote Link to comment
+Touchstone
Sounds like the old behavior of the old AW system merely carried forward. Perhaps a better system would be to have a hard stop anytime a cache type is changed, requiring the CO to make a more thorough review of all the coordinates associated with the Listing. I've seen the converse of this issue, where it was apparent that their initial submission was likely rejected, so they relocate the posted coordinates, yet the Parking AW is like 100 miles away and seemingly irrelevant. 1 Quote Link to comment
