The key is to focus on the geologic aspects of how the fossils or fossilized footprints were formed.  If the focus is just on how they were uncovered, that would be archaeology, not geology.

Yo puse el año en el cual se descubrieron, pero expliqué la formación de las huellas, por suelos arcillosos, etc. Inclusive. edité una imagen, en español e inglés para explicar las distintas capas de suelo.
