Gabeman26
Would anyone be interested in doing some caching at some cemeteries during the month of October? Or go to other haunted places that have caches nearby? Quote Link to comment

Flashlights can draw unwanted attention and sometimes the police. Other haunted places would be fun though! 1 Quote Link to comment
+fuzziebear3
I was cemetery caching just today .... they are just like parks around here. But generally they close at dusk or at stated hours, so night caching is not recommended or allowed. Haunted places -- well if you say so. Just be sure you are not trespassing. Quote Link to comment
+Max and 99
Closed at dusk where I live. A city near me had a haunted tour/ghost tour that included spending time at the cemetery to hear stories of people laid to rest there. . It did not go over well. +cerberus1
Think I've done most of the spooky caches in this area. - Something about misshapen dolls hanging and scattered in the woods gave me the heebie jeebies on one. Seems that most late-night caches near cemeteries here have been archived. Cemeteries near me have set hours. A while ago one here posted that they carry a very-high lumen light (really not needed to simply walk in the woods). - Lights looking like a ufo, car/plane crash, what-have-you shining into home windows a quarter-mile away kinda does things to people... +niraD
I did a night cache in a cemetery once. It was a historic cemetery that was open 24/7. The local cemeteries have much more limited hours. Quote Link to comment

I wasn't cited, and and already made it back to the car when he approached. Could be a fun idea otherwise. I forget where in Texas you are, but there is a Halloween-themed event near Jacksonville around that date. Quote Link to comment
Gabeman26
You could cache earlier before the sun goes down and head back as the sun goes down so hopefully no problems. Found 3 caches passing the haunted bridge and 1 near the Blue Light Cemetery. Edited September 11, 2018 by Gabeman26 Quote Link to comment

The families of people laid to rest there felt it was disrespectful, and hundreds of people were walking all over or standing on the graves (hard to see at night). 2 Quote Link to comment

+captnemo
I really enjoy Cemetery caches. We are careful not to walk on the graves and like to read the stones. I also own 4 such caches. They get a lot of good remarks from the finders. Quote Link to comment
