+beinhart
In a profile like mine where the profile text plus all the banner images covers multiple pages it is a pain to edit the text in an edit field that just shows four quite short lines. It would be better to have a resizable edit field or a bigger edit field. I could also work with copying the text out, pasting it into Microsoft Notepad, editing it there and pasting it back again. But everytime I copy the text from the web page to Notepad every line ending is doubled and I have an additional empty line between every lines. So having a fix for that would also be nice. +on4bam
I can resize input fields almost everywhere, this has been so for many years (FF62) Quote Link to comment
anpefi
Probably is a problem related to your browser/configuration. The About input field is resizable (as on4bam showed) in all the modern browsers I could use in the last months (FF, Chromium, Chrome or Safari). Also I've never had any problem by copy&paste from the input field to a (true) text editor (I work in Linux, so MS Notepad is not an option). So, try another browser and check if the problem persists. Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
Just in case you're simply missing it, there IS an expand box icon in the lower right corner, the tiny arrow made up of dots. See image below, my modification of the on4bam image. 1 Quote Link to comment
+beinhart
In none of the input fields of the profile I can see an expand box using Edge on Windows 10. Using Chrome I can see the input expand box. On Edge it is even worth than I thought. If I delete the empty lines and store the changed text (not copying from/to an external editor) Edge again shows an empty line. Storing again the line stays, it is not changed to two empty lines. Chrome instead does not show an empty line. I don't know what's going on there, but I think Groundspeak should check that and probably fix it. Quote Link to comment
