+GEO COWBOYS
A week ago I was checking on my caches to see if they needed maintained, such as new trade swag. I dropped a trackable in one and traded with a coin. The found coin wasn't logged as dropped. I waited for the week for whomever dropped it to have time to record it. So now I have a coin I cannot record or drop until it's been properly logged. I checked the coin page today. It states that the coin location is unknown. Do I go ahead and drop the coin or wait it out? Quote Link to comment
+kunarion
What's it's reference number (starts with TB, upper right corner of its page)? The reference number is OK to post. Don't publish the engraved tracking number. See if logs mention placing a trackable item. Some people take a couple of weeks to catch up on logs. You can either wait, and do a little more detective work, or Grab it and press on. It's up to you. In order to log it into a cache, it will first need to be in your inventory. If it's in Unknown, it was marked missing. Make a "Grab" log, then you can do a Drop log into some cache. Edited August 17, 2018 by kunarion Quote Link to comment

In case you need to know how to log a Trackable, to make a Grab log, info is here:https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=30&pgid=151 Quote Link to comment
