+niraD
How do I stop Groundspeak's Geocaching app for Android from alerting every time someone sends me a message with the Message Center? I couldn't find any setting for this in the Geocaching app. I've already got the Message Center configured to send me email when someone sends me a message. I don't need my phone to chirp at me too. Deleting the Geocaching app and using some other app is definitely an option, but first I'd like to try to silence the Geocaching app's Message Center alerts. Quote Link to comment
+geo climber
On an Android device try going into "Settings" => Apps => All Apps => Geocaching => Notifications => (Block All = ON). Quote Link to comment

Thank you. That's apparently for a different version of Android, but here's what I found: Settings > Application manager > Geocaching > (uncheck) Show notifications I'll see if it works the next time someone sends me a message with Message Center.
