+gbal Posted July 21, 2018 Share Posted July 21, 2018 When we use C:GEO App instead of Geocaching app the language you set will revert to English. Opening Geocaching on the Website will show all the labels in English whatever was the language you set before. C:GEO declares they have to do this to better access to the user map and so on. What is the remedy? Going to the user settings and change again the language as you like is boring. But there is another way. Use a favourite to reach the Geocaching initial page (https://www.geocaching.com/play/search) but change it appending a string to impose the language you want. For example change the GC Favourite to https://www.geocaching.com/play/culture/set?model.SelectedCultureCode=de-DE to start GC in German language, https://www.geocaching.com/play/culture/set?model.SelectedCultureCode=fr-FR to have it in French and https://www.geocaching.com/play/culture/set?model.SelectedCultureCode=it-IT to start Geocaching in Italian.
