+Sakidoo
Can you recommend software for a Windows user for scanning barcode. For example, GC7TF71 where the barcode is not an attachment. Thanks Quote Link to comment
+barefootjeff
No need for special software, just take a screen shot of the cache page (Alt-Printscreen), paste it into any generic image software like Paint, crop out the barcode, save that as an image file, then use one of the many web-based barcode reader sites to decode it. +Lynx Humble
Personally to decode this geoart earlier today I used my Android phone with a free barcode reader app and scan my computer with the cache listing. Its a lot quicker than barefootjeff method because you have to do it 66 times. Edited July 17, 2018 by Lynx Humble clarity Quote Link to comment
+GeoTrekker26
The cache the OP points to is a puzzle/mystery/unknown cache. The puzzle is to decode the barcode, which means that the real puzzle is how to do that. Per the TOS, puzzle solutions are not to be discussed in the forums. It should be simple enough for you to find the solution with only a minimal effort. Quote Link to comment
