Interesting. That could conceivably be useful if the status updates weren't buried so deep where no one will really see them... Quote Link to comment

The only way we would know someone posted a status update, would be for them post a comment in the general forums (defeating the purpose of this seemingly semi-private forum) or for us to stock others hovering over their avatars just to see if someone has a status update.
