Yes,  I found a historical photo of a bridge being removed.  Earlier versions showed the original bridge from the 1950's.  Found photos where the bridge was being demolished.  Then later photos of a new bridge.   This was in San Jose CA.    The historical feature in Google Earth is good for looking for radio towers and smokestacks that have since been removed.
