+geocat_
I am a bit of a numbers junkie thanks to some sort of OCD I may have. I have fun as a CO looking at some of the statistics related to my hides and the finders of my hides. So here are some of my favorites via https://project-gc.com/ Day with the most found logs received: 2018-05-27, 1254 finds Total favorite points received: 3059 (11%) (I am especially proud of the 11% part) Caching karma (#hides/#finds): 2.72 (32989/12149) So I'd be interested in some of your statistics as a CO! Let's shine a light on our fun numbers! Edited July 10, 2018 by geocat_ Quote Link to comment

+barefootjeff
Okay, here's mine for comparison: The Hide with the most finds in a day was an event so I'm not sure if that really counts. I can't see an obvious way of getting the most hides in a day on a non-event cache, but I'm guessing it'd be when a small group has done one of them so probably 4 or 5. The hide with the most finds, Peat's Grave, is next to a motorway interchange and rest area, so it gets a lot of passing visitors; it's my only cache to have passed 100 finds. The next highest is 63 finds on a D2/T2.5 traditional I hid in March 2014. The other telling statistics are for my more recent hides: Apart from the event, none of those have reached double-figure find counts and the earliest one is now nudging 100 days/find. I wouldn't be surprised if the CHS starts pinging me for caches not being found often enough! We have few active cachers around here now and visitors to the area by and large only do the easy P&Gs. Edit to add: My most unpopular cache is GC6WPQ5 with 3 finds at 203 days per find, but 2 of the 3 finders awarded it FPs. That one did get pinged by the CHS. In my case, it was my EarthCache getting published a few days before a promotion that awarded a Souvenir for finding an EarthCache. Quote Link to comment
