Images appearing as broken link.

I'm trying to add images to my geocaching profile. I'm aware 3rd party hosting no longer works. i'm actually using Souvenir images not 3rd party. i'm using the <img src=”insert image here”/> code. Attached is a photo of the results. This has been happening for months. Anyone else have this issue?

It looks like the system is somehow garbling the URL of the image.

 

When I copy the image address, I get:

https://www.geocaching.com/profile/%E2%80%9Dhttps://souvenirs.geocaching.com/SouvenirImages/MS8xNy8yMDE4/25aa0538-747b-4fe4-95d2-e8f7cbd5ff3b.png%E2%80%9D

When I remove the extra stuff, I get a working URL:

https://souvenirs.geocaching.com/SouvenirImages/MS8xNy8yMDE4/25aa0538-747b-4fe4-95d2-e8f7cbd5ff3b.png

It's not just affecting images, look at all the OP's links in the profile.  The links have a similar effect.

 

I tried it in my own profile just now, and the souvenir appears fine.  Maybe something got scrambled in the OP's "About" page.  It may need to be rebuilt with clean code.  It's not a super complicated page.  It's a good time to try to fix it.

Yep that fixed it. I wonder what caused it in the first place...
