How do I find out which cache has the most visits in my area?

I live in Ohio, USA. Does geocaching.com give users a way to determine which caches have had the most visits? Also as a bonus question what does the STAR symbol mean for a cache. On my maps, the cache I placed some years back was grandfathered and it shows up as a STAR. I don't know what that means.

It means it's yours.

In a given area? I don't believe so. Number of Finds isn't a field that can be sorted in a search result, and it's not in pocket query results.

 

project-gc might have something in their stats.

Physical cache in Ohio with the most Found logs = GC31A

You can use Project-GC's "Top Logged" feature to find such info, although I'd suggest filtering cache types to exclude regular/mega/giga events first.
