+krabbcachers
Is there any way to mark a TB as "missing" and have it removed from a cache-page? 1 Quote Link to comment

I'm thinking that a "TB missing" button could be a valuable service for both TB hunters and owners. How would I make that suggestion to GCHQ if it isn't currently available? Quote Link to comment

+Isonzo Karst
a couple of things - 1) using the visible reference number on the trackable's page, you can post a log to a trackable page - log would be Write Note, along the lines of, "Your TB / Coin is not in Name of Cache. Please mark it missing." You can add that same info in your log of the cache, you need to specify "name of TB"! , as the cache owner can also mark missing - but that's ultimately not as useful as ON the trackable page. 2) You could bump this very long running thread in the website section - bug reports and feature requests: SUBMITTED (21313) - [FEATURE] System to remove "ghost" trackables 3) In 2016, GeocachingHQ did a datebase cleanup of trackables, moving to an Unknown location any that had been in a cache for a year or more, cache had been found at least 4 times on 4 different days, and trackable had no action or discover logs in that period - many many many trackables were cleaned up with this action - at some future point, this may be repeated 1 1 Quote Link to comment
