valentijnsessink
Hi all, While installing the Geocaching app for Android (yes I am new to geocaching), I came across a translation oddity in the Dutch version. Where the English version most likely says "I am excited", the Dutch version has "Ik ben opgewonden" for translation. This is technically correct. However, "opgewonden" in Dutch also has the meaning of being sexually aroused. You wouldn't want to say "I am aroused" as first greeting in a new app, would you? A translation without this extra value would be "Ik ben enthousiast". (It's still not the best translation, but hey, that's not what this posting is about). Now where should I to report this? Best regards, Valentijn Quote Link to comment
+dgruici
Hi there! Thank you for the feedback. We have updated that string to not be so "arousing" and the change for it should be out soon in a future release. Thanks again for letting us know! Quote Link to comment
