+icezebra11 Posted June 21, 2018 Share Posted June 21, 2018 Finding someone to go with you is a great way to get introduced to the hobby. One way to connect with other cachers is at events. Go to the main search page on the website. Click on the "Events" quick search. As long as you have your home coordinates in your profile it will bring up events near you. You can also check Facebook to see if there is a local caching page. (I don't do Facebook myself.) If you are by yourself, search for caches that are rated 1.5/1.5 or less. There should be hundreds in your area. These are good ones for new cachers to start with. Welcome to geocaching! Quote Link to comment
