+yellowbug Posted May 14, 2018 Share Posted May 14, 2018 I have uploaded Field Notes frequently over the years with my Oregon 450 but when I went to do it yesterday, I received the following message: "geocache_visits.txt" is not in the correct format. I haven't uploaded any for a few months and see they're called "drafts" now, but the procedure is the same. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment

+The A-Team Posted May 15, 2018 Share Posted May 15, 2018 One thing that can trip it up is an extra quotation mark ("). Did you maybe make a comment in one of the field notes where you mentioned something in inches like ' 6" '? The file is simply a text file, so you can open it up and scan through all the entries looking for comments with a ", then remove that character and save the file. Quote Link to comment
