Syn
I had an entire day of geocaching planned today. And then it started raining. I am quite bummed out..I waited for a break and then went but then it started up again..I got soaked to the bone as soon as I got out of my truck. Oh well another day. Quote Link to comment
+oregone
Um, are you from california or something, Syn? I did a cache today that wasn't too much of a walk, but then it started raining so i decided to walk around the whole lake. That crowded park turned into a deserted one in the space of 30 seconds. Nothing against sunshine, but i prefer caching in the rain. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed Quote Link to comment

+pdxmarathonman
Oregone is right, cachin' in the rain is good. Now that the sunny weather is getting to be more sparse the amount of time available for geocaching will certainly be on the rise... Check those caches to make sure the logbooks aren't nearly full. +Bodoni
Syn, is that you? Nothing against the sun, but I'm looking forward to the rain (as far as Geocaching goes). I need to get my found count up there and it's easier when the aliens aren't about and I'm under cover of raindrops! Quote Link to comment
+dasein
Rain is nice 'cause there are less people in the parks giving you more privacy whilst caching! Last night I finally went to bed at 4am, then I thought I heard rain on the roof. I opened the window and lo and behold! I was so excited that I woke doug up to tell him it was raining! Rain makes me happy! At least rain doesn't give you skin cancer! --laurak of dasein Quote Link to comment
+Laserman
It was great, did four caches this morning didn't see anyone, no aliens to watch your every move. I've been waiting for this. Quote Link to comment

+Nurse Dave
We have only be on one where it started raining and trying to write in the log and keep it dry was the hardest part. Everyone know Oregonians don't own umbrellas. In fact, we are thinking we need to buy a small one to take caching to cover the cache when we find it. (Don't tell anyone) ---I will stand out, I am a raven in the snow. Quote Link to comment

+smithdw
We've been having a lot of snow. Most of the caches between KFalls & Medford are unaccessable right now (at least the ones that I haven't found) unless you have a snowmobile. Quote Link to comment
