+BD15
Hi All! Relatively new to geocaching...about to hit my 1 year anniversary in June. I've got a couple of hides, but can't find anything relating to my specific scenario. I browsed through the forums, so I apologize now if this was asked somewhere else and I missed it. There is a puzzle cache located near a spot I have a lot of fond memories of growing up. It's 427 feet from where I would hide my traditional cache. The puzzle cache is not located at the marked coords for it (and states as much in the cache description.) I know the accepted distance between physical caches is 528 ft. So my question is: would I be able to place this cache where I want, considering there is not another physical cache, but a puzzle cache starting point listed within that 528 ft. hot zone? TIA. -BD Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
The cache saturation guideline only applies to PHYSICAL parts of different caches. The "bogus" or virtual listing coords of a Mystery have no proximity - so, assuming the physical final of the puzzle caches isn't in your way (do you know where it is?), you should be fine. 3 Quote Link to comment
+tomfuller & Quill
Find the puzzle cache first to make sure it is not within 528 feet of where you want to place yours. 2 Quote Link to comment
