+Svízel přítula
Would it be okay to have a bot look at the Found it logs and at the emails with answers, parse the answers and check whether everyone submitted correct answers? It wouldn't actually delete any logs, just alert me when it can't find the answers or when they're incorrect. Edited May 2, 2018 by Svízel přítula Quote Link to comment
+Touchstone
If it's something you're doing offline, and not something that violates the TOU of the site (e.g. "scraping"), it would probably be OK. You might have to ask HQ for a definitive answer, with an example of what you're trying to accomplish. The one issue you might run into, which is quite common with my Listings, is that occasionally, one person will send in answers for a group they are traveling with. I'm not sure how your scenario could parse out such issue. I'm assuming that what you're planning is different from an auto-verification scheme via an email bot, which is no longer allowed. +Cathy
Bots are not permitted to check and respond to EarthCache logging tasks. You must monitor the logs and answers to logging tasks yourself. 3 Quote Link to comment
